Athletics
The club is running its own athletics sessions and training usually takes place in Dangan. Check the "Events" section for dates.
We have hosted three very successfull athletics Games in Galway in September 2011, June 2012 and May 2013.
The main events covered are 60m and 100m for the track and Shot-put, Discuss and Javelin for the field.
In 2012, two of our athletes received Awards for their performances throughought the season in the IWA Athletics Grand Prix:
Sinead Keon - Best Female Newcomer Award
Shane Curran - Best Male Newcomer Award
